One Day Mini Retreat
November 5, 1-9pm

Keiki Yoga Kohala Annual Benefit

What does infinite self-love mean? Isn't it time to find out? Do you love you, unconditionally? Is it challenging to make time for self-care? Are you in need of healing, or just simply more joy? When you love yourself, you create a massive shift in the consciousness of the world. And we could all benefit from that!

Sunday, November 5 from 1-9pm Keiki Yoga Kohala presents its 4th annual one-day mini yoga retreat held at the idyllic and peaceful Hawaii Island Retreat. Personalize your schedule selecting up to three classes that will deeply nourish your essential being, bringing out the best version of you. We have a gifted and loving line-up of both local and traveling teachers, including Narayan Gopal Kaur (classical kundalini) coming all the way from Canada, Chelsea Morriss (hatha + nidra), Carla Orellana (restorative + pranayama), Yohavi Le (longevity yoga), Pascale Michel (shakti yoga) and Noelani Love (kundalini flow) hailing from the North Shore, Oahu. As a special treat, Kristen Cosmi will be playing gong as a transition into and during some of these wonderful classes!

Special musical performances by mantra maestra Noelani Love, who released her first album, Lakshmi Lullabyes in 2016, Kohala's own Mahina Lee, as well as the lovely Maureen Quinn followed by kirtan curated by Dr. Hana Roberts, where everyone is encouraged to share their voices to raise the vibration!

An abundant local, organic and mostly vegan dinner will be provided. Enjoy refreshments throughout the day. Enter the lucky number drawing to win fabulous prizes for only $10/ticket. All proceeds benefit Keiki Yoga Kohala.

Every dollar raised will be matched
by an angel donor up to $2000

Keiki Yoga Kohala is an empowering yoga education and healthy lifestyles program now celebrating its 11th year at Kohala Elementary. KYK serves all 350 students and their teachers at Kohala Elementary School by delivering 30 minute yoga sessions directly in the classroom. Our goal is to help provide students with opportunities to learn self-care techniques, as well as exploring the mind-body connection through yoga poses, breathwork and mindfulness exercises. In a world where more emphasis is put on testing and less time is given to children for physical activity, these classes are sometimes the only opportunity for a student to exercise and de-stress during the day!

In the 2017-18 school year, Keiki Yoga Kohala is expanding to include preschool students. We also welcome Mahina Lee, a certified Yoga Therapist, to work with a small group of students with behavioral challenges, a program request by the school's counselor, Ms. Lei Moore.
